A service of NGENCY LLC, d/b/a converlytik

Effective October 2, 2026 · Last updated October 2, 2026

1. About this policy

NGENCY LLC, doing business as converlytik ("converlytik," "we," "us," "our"), provides conversation analytics and conversion management software to businesses that advertise online. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.

It applies to:

  • converlytik.com — our public website
  • app.converlytik.com — our customer dashboard
  • The converlytik service — including the processing of telephone calls placed to our business customers

2. Three different relationships

converlytik handles personal information in three distinct roles. Which parts of this policy apply to you depends on how you interact with us.

If you are…Our roleRead
A visitor to converlytik.comWe decide how your information is usedSections 3, 8
A user of the converlytik dashboardWe decide how your information is usedSections 4, 8
Someone who called a business that uses converlytikWe process your information on that business's instructionsSections 5, 6, 7

The third case is the most important to understand. If you telephoned a business and that business uses converlytik, we did not collect your information for our own purposes. The business you called decides what happens to that information; we act as its service provider. Section 12 explains how to exercise your rights in that situation.

3. Website visitors

When you visit converlytik.com we collect:

  • Information you submit. If you apply for the public beta, we collect your name, work email address, company name, the type of business you are, and the number of ad accounts you manage. If you make a privacy request, we collect what you provide on that form, such as your name, email address, state of residence, the telephone number you called from, the business you called, and the details of anyone you are acting for. Submissions are sent to our email and to our team's internal notifications, beta applications are recorded in our customer relationship management system, and we email you a confirmation.
  • Automatically collected information. IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and time spent. This comes from analytics and advertising technologies described in Section 8.

We use this to respond to your application or request, understand how the site is used, and measure and improve our own advertising.

4. Dashboard users

When someone at a customer organization uses app.converlytik.com:

  • Account information. Username and password, or a Google account if you sign in with Google Single Sign-On. Authentication is handled by our provider, Clerk.
  • Product usage information. Pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the dashboard, collected through PostHog for product analytics.

We use this information to provide and secure the service, support users, and understand which features are used.

5. Call participants

This section describes information processed when someone telephones a converlytik customer using a tracked telephone number.

5.1 What is collected

  • Call audio — a recording of the call
  • A transcript of the call, generated from the audio
  • Caller identification information — name, telephone number, and city, state, and ZIP code associated with the telephone number, provided by our telephony partner SignalWire
  • Call metadata — start time, end time, and duration
  • Advertising attribution information — where the call can be connected to a click on an online advertisement, the landing page address and advertising identifiers stored by the advertiser's own website cookies

5.2 Call transcripts contain whatever was discussed

A transcript reflects the substance of the conversation. Depending on the business you called and the reason you called, a transcript may contain personal details you shared during the call — including, for example, legal matters if you contacted a law firm, or vehicle information if you contacted a dealership.

We do not seek this information and we do not use it for any purpose other than delivering the service to the business you called.

5.3 Call recording notice and consent

The business you called is responsible for notifying callers that calls are recorded and for obtaining any consent the law requires. Recording consent requirements vary by state, and in some states all parties to a call must consent.

Where a customer's telephone line does not already carry a recording notice, converlytik can configure a recording greeting on that line as part of setting up the service. Configuring that greeting at a customer's direction does not transfer responsibility for consent to converlytik; the customer remains responsible for ensuring its call handling complies with applicable law.

If you do not wish to be recorded, tell the business you called.

6. How call information is used

converlytik processes call information only to provide the service to the business that received the call:

  • Producing a transcript of the call
  • Analyzing the transcript to identify whether the call represented a genuine business opportunity, and to extract indicators the business has configured
  • Attributing the call to the advertising campaign that generated it
  • Reporting call volume, outcomes, and campaign performance to the business in the dashboard
  • Transmitting conversion information to advertising platforms as described in Section 7

6.1 Automated analysis

Transcripts are analyzed using Google's Gemini models, operating within our Google Cloud environment. Our arrangement with Google provides that content submitted for analysis is not used to train Google's models.

This analysis produces classifications and summaries. It does not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects for callers — it determines how a business categorizes and values its own marketing, not anything about the caller's access to goods, services, credit, or employment.

6.2 Who at converlytik can see call content

Access to call recordings and transcripts is limited to converlytik personnel who work on that customer's account, for the purpose of delivering and supporting the service.

7. Advertising platforms

The core function of converlytik is to tell a business's advertising platforms which of its calls were valuable, so those platforms can find more callers like them.

7.1 What we send

For calls a customer has designated, we transmit the following to the advertising platforms that customer has connected to converlytik, such as Google Ads, Meta, and Microsoft Advertising:

Hashed before transmission — irreversibly converted using the SHA-256 algorithm, so the platform cannot read the original value unless it already holds the same information:

  • Telephone number
  • First and last name
  • City, state, ZIP code, and country

Transmitted without hashing:

  • The IP address and browser user-agent recorded when the visitor arrived on the advertiser's website
  • Advertising click and browser identifiers stored by the advertiser's own website cookies
  • The landing page address
  • The time of the call and an identifier for the call record
  • Non-identifying attributes of the call, such as its duration and the quality classification assigned

We do not transmit call audio, call transcripts, or the content of any conversation to advertising platforms.

7.2 Our role

converlytik transmits this information as a service provider, acting on the documented instructions of the business customer that received the call. We do not sell personal information. We do not transmit call information to advertising platforms for our own purposes, and we do not use information from one customer's calls to serve advertising for any other customer.

7.3 Aggregate performance benchmarking

We may use performance data derived from customer activity to produce aggregate industry benchmarks. Any such use is limited to aggregated and de-identified information. It does not include personal information, call content, or customer-identifying detail.

8. Cookies and tracking technologies

Our website uses:

  • Analytics technologies that tell us how visitors find and use the site
  • Advertising technologies, including the Google Ads tag and the Meta Pixel, which help us measure the performance of our own marketing and reach people who have visited our site

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking analytics and advertising cookies will not prevent you from using the site.

Note that the advertising identifiers described in Section 7.1 are set by our customers' own websites, not by converlytik.com. Those cookies are governed by the privacy policy of the website you visited.

9. Service providers and sharing

We share personal information with the following categories of providers, each of which is contractually limited to using it to provide services to us:

  • Our business customers, who receive the call information relating to calls placed to them
  • Legal and safety recipients, where we are required by law to disclose information, or where disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or property

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising for our own purposes.

10. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the service and for a period afterward as required for legal, accounting, or dispute resolution purposes.

  • Dashboard account information: for the duration of the customer relationship

Customers can export their call recordings and transcripts from the dashboard at any time during their subscription.

11. Security

We protect personal information using measures including:

  • Encryption of data in transit
  • Multi-factor authentication on administrative systems
  • Access controls limiting call content to personnel who work on the relevant customer account

converlytik does not currently hold a SOC 2 or comparable third-party security certification.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you and how it is used
  • Access a copy of that information
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your information
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information for targeted advertising
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have some or all of these rights under their state law.

12.1 How to make a request

Submit a request through our request form at converlytik.com/data-deletion, or email info@converlytik.com.

We will verify your identity before acting on a request, and will respond within the time your state's law requires. We will not charge you for making a request, and we will not treat you differently for making one.

12.2 If you are a website visitor or dashboard user

Use either method above and tell us what you are requesting. We hold this information directly and can act on your request ourselves.

12.3 If you called a business that uses converlytik

The business you called controls that information. We process it only on their instructions, which means we generally cannot delete or disclose it without their authorization.

You have two options, and either works:

  1. Contact the business you called directly. This is usually fastest, since they hold the relationship with you.
  2. Submit a request to us at converlytik.com/data-deletion or info@converlytik.com. Tell us the telephone number you called from and, if you know it, the business you called. We will identify the relevant customer, forward your request to them, and act on their instruction.

12.4 Authorized agents

You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may ask for proof of authorization.

13. Children

converlytik is a business-to-business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child's information has reached us, contact info@converlytik.com and we will delete it.

14. Where information is stored

converlytik stores and processes personal information in data centers located in the United States.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our service changes. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. If we make a material change to how we handle personal information, we will provide notice through the service or by email to customer account administrators.
